Reg.ru received clients from competing hosting provider Reddock. The transition will be completed within a month. Buying a customer base could cost 45-55 million rubles, writes RBC.
In 2023, Reg.ru announced its desire to acquire small market players for whom hosting is not a priority activity. Subsequently, the company sent proposals to these companies; the first deal was closed with Reddock.
Reddock is a hosting provider with nine years of experience in the market, a recommended partner of 1C-Bitrix. The company’s management no longer wants to develop experience in the field of hosting computer resources and VPS.
Reg.ru occupies 15% of the hosting market in the .ru domain. Serves 200 thousand customers, Reddock – 2.5 thousand, who will move to Reddrock in a month.
