Like its predecessor, the Moto 2 is a small hockey puck-shaped device that attaches to your handlebars and connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth. It offers two navigation modes:
Compass mode: A simple arrow points you in the right direction and you determine your route.
Route Mode: The arrow points ahead, the dots indicate upcoming turns, and the distance is displayed below.
Moto 2 adds a minimap to Route mode, eliminating the need to guess whether you’re on the right path. Additionally, you will now be able to choose between the “fastest” and “most fun” routes in the application.
Moto 2 features several hardware improvements: larger, clearer, anti-glare TFT color display, audible and LED turn alerts, longer battery life (up to 14 hours on a single charge), glove-friendly keys, IP67 water resistance.
It costs £179 (about $226) on Kickstarter.
