Americanas SA is launching a program for training and development in data science in partnership with the VAI Academy. Americanas VAI a 100% online and free courseIt aimed to “expand the employability of the chosen and create opportunities in technology within a company”. Registration is open until next Friday (24).
400 university students or recent graduates will be selected across the country. After the foundation course, the 60 selected top performers will be invited to attend the entire course. The interested candidate is required to apply and complete the logic and cultural appropriateness tests.
After phase two, a two-week foundation course will be offered, where subscribers will have access to key concepts of data science such as Python, Numpy, Pandas and Statistics, as well as soft skills and time management and productivity courses. Students who complete the preparations will receive a certificate and will be guided through the stages of the selection process for the entire course.
The course will run for eight weeks with virtual classrooms and three live online meetings. Participants will be divided into teams and will take weekly quizzes and video lessons. To receive the certificate of completion, students will complete a special final project based on the Americanas competition.
