WhatsApp has finally started adopting the green color palette on its iOS app, users report. On social media, the community stated that they found the new look of the iPhone, but not everyone liked this change.
The change doesn’t change the functionality of the messenger in any way, but replaces the app’s blue color with shades of green in various corners of the interface (chat screen, settings, home screen, and more). The update appears to be rolled out secretly and gradually. TecMundofor example, continue with the interface in the old palette.
In a way, this was an expected change: In October 2023, WhatsApp Beta for iOS testers started receiving this news. At that time, the change was announced by the WABetaInfo website, which constantly provides information about the messenger.
The new color palette gives WhatsApp more of an identity on iOS and reinforces the green hue that is the messaging app’s trademark. Despite this, the color is slightly different from the operating system’s visual standard, and this apparently irritated some of the public, who used X (formerly Twitter) to express their displeasure.

gradual change
If the new WhatsApp interface hasn’t arrived on your iPhone yet, it’s worth checking the App Store for pending updates. However, it is worth noting that it may take some time for the color to appear even with the updated application.
