The German appliance manufacturer Bosch is looking for buyers for its headquarters in Khimki near Moscow, RBC writes citing real estate consultants. At the end of last year, the company decided to sell its factories near St. Petersburg to the Turkish fund Can Holding without the right of repurchase.
The office of the Bosch subsidiary on Vashutinskoye Shosse was built in 2014. According to the publication’s interlocutors, the company is negotiating with several candidates at once, but no buyer has been selected so far.
The total area of the facility is about 59 thousand square meters. m, the area below is approximately 6 hectares. The German manufacturer invested more than 100 million euros in the project and the new head office was supposed to be responsible for the group’s activities in Russia and the CIS countries.
Late last year it was reported that Bosch intended to sell factories near St. Petersburg to the Turkish investment fund Can Holding. The amount of the transaction was estimated at 20 million dollars; its terms did not provide for a buyback option.
In February it became known that large foreign brands, including Bosch, began to close their stores in Russia two years after suspending operations. By then, the long-term leases had expired and the companies did not renew them. LG, Sony and Bosch will be replaced by Chinese and Turkish brands.
At the end of last year, the American investment company Hines decided to sell the capital’s Metropolis office complex on Leningradskoye Shosse.
