Russia is in 20th place in the ranking of countries that spend on the App Store. The top three include the US ($14.8 billion), China ($11.2 billion) and Japan ($8.4 billion).
Before the introduction of restrictions on payment for purchases in the App Store, Russian users spent $336 million in the app store in 2021.
In January, Apple added links to third-party resources in the App Store to pay for purchases and subscriptions.
