Dobermans need long walks to stay in shape. If possible, consult a professional dog trainer about training your dog. Do not show aggression during training, as the dog will see this as your weakness.
It is also not recommended to buy a Doberman for a family with small children. Otherwise, you will have to combine raising the dog and taking care of the baby. Also, Dobermans do not like familiar behavior like children do.
A Doberman needs 15 minutes a day to walk and communicate with other dogs.
You need to walk your Doberman for at least two hours every day. To make your dog feel comfortable, create a structured daily routine and active pastime for him.
Your pet will need warm clothing for walks in cold weather. As for grooming, you need to periodically wipe the entire dog with a damp cloth, comb its fur with a stiff brush, wash its paws after a walk, sometimes its chest and belly, and give it a full bath several times a year. Check your dog’s ears and eyes regularly, brush his teeth, and visit the vet regularly.
You need to feed your Doberman premium food, or even better quality food. It is also better not to mix food with natural food. If you choose natural food for your dog, include in the diet, in addition to meat (at least 0.5 per day), vegetables, cereals, boneless fish and fermented milk products.
