Together with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the center’s specialists provided assistance for the endurance of nine scammers who, using instant messengers, stole money from citizens in different regions of the country. Work is now underway to return funds to the victims.
In a month, the Security Center blocked 105 thousand suspicious accounts and deleted more than 350 thousand confidential files.
The service processes user complaints around the clock and monitors suspicious activity. In September, 68 thousand requests were received through the “Complain” button; on average, each time was considered in less than four minutes.
