Apple has introduced two new MacBook Airs with the M3 processor.
The company claims the M3-equipped MacBook Air is 60% faster than the M1-equipped model and 13 times faster than the top-selling Intel-powered MacBook Air.
The M3 chip is created using a 3 nm process technology. It includes an 8-core CPU and 8 or 10 core graphics.
The M3 has an updated 16-core Neural Engine coprocessor, which is responsible for machine learning on the laptop. It has become more powerful, and at the same time consumes less energy.
You can also now connect two monitors to your MacBook Air with M3.
Otherwise, the laptops have not changed. MacBook Air came in two sizes: with a 13.6-inch and 15-inch display. It lasts up to 18 hours, has a Full HD camera, Touch ID, Wi-Fi 6E, two Thunderbolt ports and one MagSafe charging connector.
The 13-inch MacBook Air costs $1,099, the 15-inch costs $1,299. Pre-orders are already open, and both laptops will go on sale on March 8. [Apple]
