The Baltika brewery filed a lawsuit against the Danish Carlsberg for 4.4 billion rubles. The lawsuit states that the total amount is debt plus interest for the use of the loan. At the moment, Baltika remains part of the Carlsberg group, but since July 2023 it has been under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency.

Baltika Brewing Company LLC filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region to recover funds from the Danish Carlsberg Breweries A/S. Kommersant reported on this.
The amount of the claim is 4.41 billion rubles, of which 4.09 billion rubles are the principal debt of one company to another. The remaining amount is the interest on the loan. No other details were provided, the companies did not comment on the filing of the lawsuit.
Baltika is currently part of the Carlsberg group, but since July 2023 it has been under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency. Following the transfer of control, the Danish company Carlsberg announced the termination of brand licensing agreements with Baltika.
