To take into account the transformations that have occurred in the market, the service decided to position itself as a classified service with a broad service function, the site reported in a statement.
Priority in placement on the main page was given to service functions: “Yandex Rent” and “Selection of new buildings for purchase”, which were combined into a common “turnkey” communication framework.
The property search section has also been updated, the service now has tile filters that reflect the most common user requests.
The updated design transitioned to more modern shapes; The brand’s palette also changed: it became warmer and more muted.
“We analyzed the user path and noticed that filters that occupy a significant part of the screen have almost no demand. Therefore, we rebuilt the home page, improved the user experience and succinctly talked about the diversity of our capabilities: we highlighted new buildings as our key focus, service functions and presented filters in the format of convenient tiles. said Mikhail Mokeev. head of the Yandex Real Estate product design group.
The new logo is in the form of a multi-layered object, where there is both a letter (H, in perspective) and an image (two new buildings next to each other). The shape of the old house in the logo was changed to a more modern and familiar one: the shape of a modern multi-story residential building.
The introduction of the new identity will occur gradually: the site and its mobile version were the first to change, the mobile application will be updated in the coming weeks and the new design system will be implemented in the product and visual communications within one year. .
Yandex Real Estate is an apartment search service that allows users to choose, sell, rent and rent homes. The service was launched in 2010.
