M.Video-Eldorado group has launched a new service that allows customers to sell their old smartphones. The service is available for devices from 15 brands, including Apple, Samsung, Honor, Huawei, OPPO and others. Once the smartphone is evaluated, the ransom amount is instantly transferred to the customer’s bank account. This service is available in all stores of the chain, except Kaliningrad and the region, starting from December 1.

Andrey Agapov, head of the physical services department of the M.Video-Eldorado group, noted that the market for refurbished devices is actively growing and has high potential. He emphasized that the new smartphone purchasing service, together with the previously launched trade-in service, will help the company become a leader in this market. Agapov added that long-serving equipment can be used effectively again, which opens up new business opportunities.

Any smartphone is subject to redemption if it does not have serious damage, such as a broken screen or deformation of the case. The company plans to expand the service to other types of home appliances and electronics in the future. The device evaluation process only takes 15 minutes and funds can be collected by debit card or via the Fast Payment System.
