Red Dead Redemption 2 ran with an average of 117 (R7 5700) and 122 (R7 5700X) FPS at 1080p, and 101 and 102 fps respectively at 1440p.
Forza Horizon 5 launched in Full HD resolution, averaging 158fps (5700) and 169fps (5700X), while in QHD it averaged 142fps and 151fps, respectively.
In GTA 5, we managed to get an average of 172 fps (with the R7 5700) and 176 fps (with the R7 5700X) at 1080p. At 1440p resolution, these figures were 168 fps and 175 fps, respectively.
Naraka Bladepoint ran at an average of 161fps (5700) and 187fps (5700X) at 1080p, and 132fps and 152fps respectively at 1440p.
Rainbow Six Siege was tested with an average frame rate of 358fps (R7 5700) and 464fps (R7 5700X) at 1080p, and 320 and 409fps respectively at 1440p.
The average performance in the Valheim game in Full HD was 181 fps (5700) and 185 fps (5700X) at 1440p – 115 and 138 fps, respectively.
The Witcher 3 ran with an average of 129 (R7 5700) and 133 (R7 5700X) FPS at 1080p, and 79 and 81 fps respectively at 1440p.
The Apex Legends game was tested at 1080p with an average of 260 fps and 293 fps (R7 5700 and 5700X respectively), and 209 and 224 fps respectively at 1440p.
BeamNG Drive launched in Full HD with average performance of 140fps (5700) and 222fps (5700X), and in QHD at 128fps and 156fps respectively.
In Battlefield 5, the average frame rate at 1080p was 144 fps (R7 5700) and 152 fps (R7 5700X), at 1440p – 103 and 107 fps.
CS:GO 2 averaged 288fps (R7 5700) and 354fps (R7 5700X) at 1080p, and 269fps and 361fps respectively at 1440p.
Cyberpunk 2077 ran at 1080p and 1440p with DLSS Off and On. Average FPS at 1080p resolution with DLSS Off was 116fps (R7 5700) and 125fps (R7 5700X) at 1440p – 75 and 79fps respectively. At 1080p with DLSS it was possible to achieve an average of 104 fps and 118 fps, respectively, at 1440p – 69 and 71 fps.
Across all games tested, the difference between the Ryzen 7 5700 and 5700X in terms of average FPS was 16% overall (1080p, 179fps, and 208fps, respectively) and 16% (1440p, 147fps, and 170fps, respectively).
