The CryptoPro CSP development application was removed from the AppStore and access to it was prohibited on the MacOS operating system. The company announced this on its website.

Apple also revoked the code signing certificate for its products with the MacOS operating system. The company did not explain the reasons for the decision.

“We tried to quickly resolve the issue and prepare new distributions for MacOS for you,” CryptoPro said.

CryptoPro is currently solving the iOS app availability issue. The company clarified that if the app is already installed, it should work correctly.

The blocking of CryptoPro CSP applications is associated with the sanctions that the United States imposed in February 2024.
