Metal, stabilizers and a top needle! Review of the Reproductor RP-LP2XBT vinyl player for good money

You’ve probably noticed that we often hear reviews of vinyl players.

At the same time, the emphasis in development is on long work and the creation of the same elements that are found in players of leading brands.

Sound is checked in four stages: during assembly, after assembly, in the warehouse and at retail outlets.

Let’s start with the design. On the one hand, we have classic designs, and on the other, there is character.

The matte black body reminded me of the Batmobile.

Although the RP-LP2XBT loudspeaker looks like a regular one, its materials and design are inferior.

The retrofuturistic shape with patterns of edges and rounded corners gives it an atmosphere of the last century, while at the same time it looks elegant, brutal and modern, since it is not overloaded with third-party elements.

The black color of the matte vinyl coating looks stylish; they even tinted the lid to match it.

The design here is interestingly intertwined with functionality. All elements are hidden, but remain in the right places.

Top-of-the-line pickup and legs with springs

Functionally, they didn’t reinvent what already works well.

Here is a player with a classic shape: disc, table, lid. It will sound paradoxical, but visually only its minimalism stands out.

Bluetooth button, voice speed control levers (33 and 45 revolutions), and sound volume rotates next to the needle and on a separate drum of the front part, the ports are located at the back. This allows you to keep track of the device’s appearance in a clean and simple manner, which is a big plus.

The tonearm has a counterbalance due to the impact, as in all quality turntables. It makes it possible to change the pressure pressure if you replace the cartridge with another one.

But the need for such a replacement is doubtful, since there is a pickup from the leader in its production, Audio-Technica AT3600L. This is not their most expensive model, but it demands demand and does not fail at 300 hours.

The tonearm also has an anti-skating correction mechanism that switches the stylus to the center of the track and thereby prolongs its service. In principle, this is a standard thing, but it won’t hurt to come back to it once again.

The design itself is lightweight and is mounted on shake-compensating feet to balance the sound. Add the original body here and we get a model that produces sound without unnecessary reverberations.

The speed stabilizer on the optical sensor allows you, in principle, to forget about problems with the stable state of the records. Let me remind you that this rarely occurs in the basic segment.

Here, out of the box, all the subtleties related to the speed and stability of the microphone, the use of a needle, the even level of all four legs and phono correction were taken into account. You don’t need to figure it out, but you can if you wish.
