Using filters, you can easily sort conversations and view only the ones you need. For example, you can view only unread messages or only group chats.
WhatsApp has previously tested filters for personal and business chats, but these are not yet included in the new feature.
The filters will be located below the app’s top bar, so you may need to scroll down the chat list a bit to see them.
Apart from filters, WhatsApp is also working on other features that will help you manage your conversations better. For example, it will soon be possible to pin more chats to the top of the list, and it will also be possible to see the end-to-end encryption indicator for each conversation.
