Softline Group of Companies, citing official letters from Microsoft and Amazon, reports that these two companies are suspending the operation of their cloud services for corporate clients in Russia.

From March 20, 2024, access to cloud products Power BI, Dynamics CRM and others will continue. The suspension is also expected to affect cloud solutions containing these products.

The company made this decision in connection with the 12th package of EU sanctions against Russia. The products are available to Russian customers due to the requirements of the new provisions of EU Regulation 833/2014, which sets restrictions on the installation of various types of software in Russia.

I would also like to note that Google is also among those who restrict access. However, no letter was received from the corporation. Experts recommend backing up data with Microsoft, Amazon and Google services. [Softline]
