The main feature of the Framework laptop is its modularity and maintainability. But is this really true?
First of all, this laptop has a keyboard that is easy to remove. To do this, simply unscrew five screws. At the same time, the keyboard itself is fixed quite securely.
You can also change different ports for the frame: install USB-C or regular USB if desired.
All details are equipped with QR codes. You can also theoretically order absolutely any items from the manufacturer and replace them (but it is not clear whether there will be problems with the delivery of parts to the Russian Federation). All components look pretty standard.
When it comes to replacing the motherboard, its feasibility depends on its cost. Perhaps if the laptop breaks down there is no point in replacing it, because its cost will be almost the same as a new laptop. Additionally, you will only need to replace the motherboard.
