Starting March 20, Microsoft will close access to its cloud products to Russian customers. RBC writes about this with reference to letters received by Microsoft companies.

According to the publication, the letter refers to the suspension of access to data stored on the services due to EU sanctions. Subscriptions will be suspended from March 20 until general or specific approval from EU regulators.

Your Microsoft order may include products from Amazon and Google. Company experts recommended that companies back up data from Microsoft, Amazon and Google cloud services as soon as possible.

As part of the 12th package of EU sanctions against Russia from December 19, 2023, restrictions were introduced on the supply of software for business analytics. These include, in particular, Power BI, Dynamics CRM and other products.
