Despite the loss of signal at the end of the mission, Elon Musk is confident that Starship will be the key to transforming humanity into an interplanetary civilization.

“Starship will make life multi-planetary,” Musk wrote on Twitter. SpaceX also republished the post.

Starship is a giant rocket that can launch 100 tons of cargo into orbit. The aim is to colonize Mars and other planets. On its third test flight, the rocket reached orbital speed, marking an important milestone for SpaceX.

Starship was originally planned to make a controlled reentry at 27,000 km/h by reigniting the Raptor’s engines. But eventually SpaceX canceled the restart.
