Infinix has announced the Note 40, 40 Pro, 40 Pro 5G and 40 Pro+ 5G lineup of smartphones. Infinix is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that is part of the large Transsion Holdings.

So, what interesting things were presented to us in this line? Let’s figure it out.

Powerful 100W charging and MagSafe analogue

The main feature of the gadgets is support for powerful 100 W charging and MagCharge wireless charging, an analogue of MagSafe in the iPhone.

The Infinix Note 40 features All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology powered by the proprietary Cheetah X1 chip. It regulates input power and voltage. Note 40 Pro+ 5G supports 100W charging, which in hyper mode allows you to restore 50% in just 8 minutes.

The line uses high-density batteries that can withstand 1,600 full cycles and save 80% of energy. There is also 20W wireless charging.

Along with the smartphones, a line of Infinix MagKit accessories was announced. Includes a MagCase smartphone case, a MagPad magnetic charging pad, and a MagPower magnetic power supply. Extreme-Temp technology provides Reliable charging down to -20°C.

Bypass Charging 2.0 technology filters current to deliver power directly to the motherboard during an intense gaming session or video viewing, preventing overheating. Reverse charging allows you to share energy with other devices at up to 10 W.

Top-end display with curved edges and advanced hardware

The entire lineup features AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh range, 1080p power, and higher brightness of 1,300 nits.

Pro models use a 55° curved screen. Conventional versions use a flat luminaire with a top frame. TÜV Rheinland certified blue light eye protection and high PWM rating ensure flicker-free viewing.

The new Active Halo feature activates realistic light pulses on the module’s camera. It changes depending on various actions: calls, notifications, games, listening to music, charging the device, or using the Folax voice assistant.

The Note 40 smartphones have an advanced 108 MP camera with 3x optical zoom, as well as a 32 MP front camera. The firmwares have optical image stabilization.

The new smartphones are powered by Dimensity 7020 and Helio G99 Ultimate processors, as well as up to 24 GB of RAM.

The device will go on sale in March. There are three colors to choose from: green, black and gold. In Russia, smartphones are expected later this year.
