In Cinebench R23, the i3-14100F turned out to be better than the two processors in single-threaded mode and the i5-12400F in multi-threaded mode. At DaVinci, the i5 was the leader.
As for games, both processors were running at a frequency of 3200 MHz with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and an RTX 4070 graphics card.
Cyberpunk 2077 ran at 1080p with the ultra preset. The average frame rate was 128 fps on the i3-14100F and 139 fps on the i5-12400F.
Average FPS in Kingdom Come Deliverance at 1080p with HD textures with Ultra High preset was 66 (i3) and 74 (i5).
Starfield ran at 1080p at high graphics settings. Average performance in this game was 64fps (i3-14100F) and 74fps (i5-12400F).
I chose this instead of advertising.
AC Valhalla ran at 1080p with the Ultra High preset. Its average performance was 148 fps (i3) and 153 fps (i5).
Average FPS in Forza Horizon 5 at Full HD resolution with the Ultra preset was around 154 (i3-14100F) and 159 (i5-12400F).
The i3-14100F processor does its job well, but there is no point in buying it instead of the i5-2400F. The latter will be the best choice for low-cost structures.
