Xiaomi introduced Mijia smart glasses with air conduction technology for sound transmission. This was reported by the Gizmochina portal.
The glasses have built-in ultrasonic speakers with protection against sound loss during a conversation and active noise reduction. Mijia functions can be controlled by gestures: adjust the volume, change tracks, pause playback.
Additionally, the device can automatically pause music playback when you take off the glasses and also supports control via voice assistants.
Mijia weighs around 37 grams, has six interchangeable frame options and an adjustable nose bridge. The glasses can be purchased in China until April 10 for $63 as part of Youpin’s crowdfunding campaign; Outside of the campaign, the device will cost $83.
