The new operating system was developed entirely by Russian specialists. It is included in the unified register of local programs for electronic computers and databases.

The development supports authentication algorithms for national and international subscribers in mobile networks. According to a Novokard representative, the cards were thoroughly reviewed by specialists from both companies.

SIM cards in Russia can legally be equated with means of payment. In this way, the authorities are going to solve the problem of “gray” cards. In addition, it is proposed to tighten the liability of operators for violating the procedure for verifying the accuracy of subscriber information “until the cessation of the activities of the legal entity.”
