At the end of last month, the Dutch company Yandex NV completed the internal restructuring of Yandex for its sale.

The assets are transferred to the new parent company of Yandex (MKPAO Yandex), which was registered at the end of last year on Oktyabrsky Island, Kaliningrad Region.

As follows from the message of the Moscow Stock Exchange, shares of MCPJSC “Yandex” will be traded on the first quotation list, trading code – YDEX. However, the effective date of the decision may be modified if the corresponding notification is received from the company.

Yandex itself explained to Frank Media that operations will begin in the coming months and that “the start date of operations will be announced additionally.”

In early March, the government commission for foreign investment control approved an agreement to purchase 96.3% of the shares of MKAO Yandex from the Dutch company Yandex NV.

The approved transaction amount was 457.3 billion rubles, 17.7 billion less than previously announced.
