The first beta of iOS 17.5 for developers was released today. The first new information has already been found in it.
Thanks to this OS, you can download and install applications on your iPhone from developer sites in the EU. To offer an app for download from a website in the EU, developers must comply with the requirements. Specifically, they must have been a member of the Apple Developer Program for two years or more and have an app with more than a million iOS installations in the EU.
Apple has developed an API for authorized developers that allows them to distribute their apps online. They can be restored from a backup, updated, and much more.
Apps distributed through the sites do not have to pay any fees to Apple, but they do have a core technology fee of €0.50.
