Now the UK’s AI Safety Institute (AISI) will be able to work more closely with its US colleagues. In addition, the parties will jointly develop systems for the independent evaluation of AI models developed by market leaders such as OpenAI and Google.
Large companies have already agreed to provide data for AISI experts to study, including Microsoft, Meta*, Google DeepMind and OpenAI.
According to the newspaper’s source, the tests will focus mainly on the risks associated with the misuse of technology and threats to cybersecurity.
*Meta and its Facebook and Instagram members are recognized as extremist organizations whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation.
