The center will focus on using digital technologies to solve priority problems in the region’s transportation sector. This includes training, the development of new road materials and technologies, as well as research work aimed at improving the reliability and safety of roads in permafrost conditions.
Candidate of Technical Sciences Sergey Kopylov, Head of Highways and Airports Department at NEFU Automobile Faculty, states that the center will not only train experts for the road industry, but also conduct research to solve complex technical problems. The project is planned to be implemented for three years and will contribute to the development of road construction and operation in the region.
