41% of Russians are willing to change their region of residence to open a business, according to the study. More than half of the respondents mentioned Moscow as the most attractive region for these purposes, a third mentioned St. Petersburg, and a significant part pointed to the Krasnodar Territory.

Almost half of Russians expressed their willingness to move to another region to open or expand their own business. This follows from the results of a study conducted by “Business Environment” and the “Rabota.ru” service.
62% of respondents named Moscow and the Moscow region as the most attractive regions for business development, 32% considered St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region as such, 24% considered the Krasnodar Territory.
The majority of respondents (72%) cited lack of start-up capital as the main obstacle to starting a business, 37% noted lack of experience and knowledge, and 35% complained about lack of necessary connections and acquaintances.
The study was carried out on the basis of the results of a survey of 3.6 thousand respondents from all regions of Russia.
