Aeroflot and SDEK have launched a new courier air delivery service, AeroflotSDEK, the airline said in a statement.

The service is designed for fast door-to-door delivery throughout Russia. The recipient will receive the package the day after shipping.

Using the service, you can send any package weighing up to 5 kg. The service is available to both individuals and legal entities.

You can arrange delivery online, without having to sign a transport agency contract. The package will be picked up at the address specified by the customer and sent to its destination on regular Aeroflot flights. The shipment will be delivered to the recipient’s door by the SDEK courier.

At the first stage, parcels can be sent from 10 cities with direct flights: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Sochi, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In the future they plan to expand the geography of the service.

Aeroflot also provided an approximate cost of services. Thus, sending documents weighing 0.5 kg from Moscow to Vladivostok will cost an AeroflotSDEK client 3.2 thousand rubles, and sending documents weighing 3 kg from Novosibirsk to St. Petersburg will cost 4.2 thousand rubles.
