User X (Twitter) with the nickname @LizaFlux highlighted a new vulnerability found in Telegram for Windows.
During startup, files can trigger code execution. This is the order in which the calculator was opened, but the code can be absolutely anything, including a competitive one.
The only solution at the moment is to disable autoloading:
1. Opens Settings Telegram
2. Go to the section Data and disk
3. In category Autoload media turn off all toggle switches opposite photos, videos and files. This must be done for both the mobile network and Wi-Fi.
That’s it, you are protected from vulnerabilities until Telegram fixes them.
