Yandex Market has added a next-day delivery option to the personal accounts of new partners – pick-up point owners (POP). Couriers are supposed to deliver and pick up orders without the participation of employees at delivery points. This was reported to RB.RU by one of the owners of a collection point in Moscow.

From the description it is clear that this delivery method is not yet working and the market is “gathering information.” For next day delivery to be possible at a specific pickup point, you will need a separate entrance, access to Marketplace orders only, the owner’s consent, and a willingness to hand over the keys to the courier.
The Market press service, in response to a request from RB.RU, reported that “Yandex Market is preparing to use night delivery of orders at some pickup points during this year’s peak sales season.”
“Couriers will be able to deliver and pick up orders without the participation of employees of the collection points, if the points are suitable for such a process (branded collection points on the market with a separate entrance). Preparatory work is currently being carried out. For example, “Market” invites new registered partners to indicate whether they are ready to connect to next-day delivery in their personal account,” said a representative of the market.
The company clarified that with the introduction of night delivery at the pick-up point, nothing will change for customers: they will be able to pick up their orders during the point’s opening hours.
Wildberries and Ozon are already developing overnight delivery. Marketplaces use it to speed up internal processes and product delivery to customers. At the same time, users will be able to collect their purchases during the opening hours of the collection point.
- An Ozon representative said the company has been running a program for almost a year where couriers can deliver and pick up orders at night. Now more than 85% of Ozon collection points are connected to night delivery (the rest are included in the list of exceptions, for example, when the collection point is located in a shopping center, business center or other buildings to which there is no access at night).
“This allows us to separate the flow of issuing orders to customers and receiving products from the market. “This way, employees can sort products in the morning, rather than during the day, freeing up more time for customer service, especially during peak hours,” a company representative explained.
- Wildberries also created internal business processes so that customers receive their orders as quickly as possible.
“Our logistics facilities, as well as transport infrastructure, operate uninterrupted and at all times, and the automated system selects the least congested routes so as not to interfere with city traffic during peak hours and not lose delivery time because of traffic jams,” he said. a representative of the company told RB.RU.
The market representative added that all products that Wildberries delivers to the collection point are packaged in soft cardboard containers, which helps reduce the noise level during transportation and unloading.
