Google will test a new tool in its search engine where users can find short videos in the style of YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
A screenshot published by Piunika Website and sourced by tipster AssembleDebug shows the new functionality after the Images and Shopping filters in the top bar. However, when clicked on it, the page was refreshed and the option disappeared, preventing user testing.

Currently, to find short videos, you need to add the names of the social networks where they are published to the search as keywords. TikTok and Instagram videos began to be indexed in Google searches in 2021.
Recently, the Google Android app itself has also been redesigned. Cards that display quick information have a new look. They now offer a larger layout that highlights the data displayed. This section is called ‘Your Domain’ and appears in version 15.12 of the app.
Last month, Google also announced changes to its search algorithms. The company’s idea is to reduce low-quality content shown in search results by up to 40% and prevent spam.
