Hosts can’t use the cameras to monitor indoor spaces or “certain outdoor areas where a high level of privacy is expected,” such as an outdoor shower or sauna. The records will also include noise monitors that landlords can use to measure the presence of parties in rental properties; This is something Airbnb is banning in 2022.
