There are several types of spam. These include email spam, spam on social networks and instant messengers, forums and comments, SMS, phishing (various fake letters). Fortunately, email spam can be combated.
To avoid spam emails, use filters (suspicious emails will be marked as spam), unsubscribe from mailing lists, be careful when registering on sites (refuse to receive advertising mail), update your software.
