Commercial real estate investment platform SimpleEstate raised 2.6 million rubles. 19 participants of the “Venture Academy 6” educational program invested in it. They joined a large round of startups, of which 30 million have already been closed. This was announced by Renata George, managing partner of the IZBA entrepreneurship platform.

SimpleEstate was founded in 2019 by Nikita Kornienko, originally from the international investment bank Goldman Sachs. The company allows you to invest from 100 thousand rubles in professionally selected commercial real estate properties completely online. Included in the register of investment platforms of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The value of SimpleEstate’s real estate portfolio exceeds 1.3 billion rubles and more than 10 thousand investors are registered on the platform.
- In August 2022, SimpleEstate raised 30 million rubles from the private fund AYR Capital in exchange for a 13% stake in the company.
- In December 2023, the company received 30 million rubles from venture funds Kama Flow, Malina VC and AYR Capital. Then the platform’s founder, Nikita Kornienko, said that SimpleEstate plans to raise another 20 million rubles from a syndicate of private investors in 2024.
Venture Academy is a program for beginner investors and business angels. During their work, the participants invested 315 million rubles.
According to Renata George, in 2023 the Venture Academy concept was updated. The first block of the program helps participants understand the startup investment analysis process to then make the right investment decision.
Participants also organize a venture syndicate and learn investment strategies, venture capital metrics and legal aspects.
