The board of directors of the Skolkovo Foundation has elected a new president, Sergei Perov will take office on April 27, the foundation’s press service reported.

Perov previously worked as first deputy director of the Moscow Department of Culture. As chairman of the board, he will replace Igor Drozdov, who has held this position since 2016. Drozdov himself will join the VEB.RF team and become vice-president of the corporation.
At the same time, Drozdov will remain in Skolkovo as deputy chairman of the fund’s board of directors.
According to the director of VEB.RF, chairman of the board of directors of the Skolkovo Foundation, Igor Shuvalov, “VEB.RF, in cooperation with Moscow, discussed the development of the Skolkovo project, which has innovative content and tasks for urban development. of this territory.
“Igor Drozdov will take charge of the innovation agenda within the VEB.RF management team, coordinating it within the Development Group. Sergey Perov, as director of the Skolkovo Foundation, will ensure the synchronization of our common efforts with Moscow,” says Shuvalov.
Previously, the Ministry of Finance of Russia prepared amendments to the law “On the Skolkovo Innovation Center”, according to which the functions of ensuring the functioning of infrastructure on the territory of the center are transferred to the Moscow government.
