Investment holding Vostok Investments acquired a 28% stake in the Ozon market from Baring Vostok Private Equity Funds. This was reported by the market’s press service.

Vostok Investments now owns 59.8 million Ozon ordinary shares and one class A share. The holding company is owned by former Baring Vostok senior partner and Ozon board chairwoman Elena Ivashentseva.

In February 2024, the authorities agreed to split the business of the investment group Baring Vostok. It was reported that 12 assets of the group would be transferred to the Russian structure Vostok Investments, headed by Elena Ivashentseva.

Details of the split of the Baring Vostok business were made public in March 2023.

Ozon previously announced plans to change jurisdiction from Cyprus to Russia. The redomiciliation process could begin as early as 2024.
