People with long, thick, porous hair need to buy a hair dryer with an AC or EC motor.
Strength. Cheap hair dryers often have low airflow compensated by high temperature. This causes the hair to dry slowly and become damaged. At the same time, a hair dryer with a strong air flow dries hair faster, even at low temperatures, although its power is even lower. Typically, hair dryers with AC and EC motors are more powerful and efficient, while those with DC motors are weaker.
Functionality. Check out the individual temperature and air speed settings, proper temperature switching, position of control buttons and child mode.
Weight and size. It is better not to buy a hair dryer weighing more than 600 grams.
Wire length and fixing. Do not buy hair dryers with a cable length shorter than 1.5 meters.
Number of nozzles. The most common attachments are diffuser and concentrator.
