The TikTok Notes app has been released on the App Store and Google Play in Australia and Louisiana. It is currently only available in two countries for limited testing.
TikTok Notes is a photo sharing app that is a competitor to Instagram. Users can post pictures and leave them with captions. There are also comments and reposts.
The main screen is divided into two parts. By default, the For You tab is shown, which shows Pinterest-style recommendations. The second page allows you to view posts only from users you follow.
The app itself hasn’t made much of an appearance on Instagram*, judging by the screenshots. [The Verge]
