TikTok has a new app that will directly rival Instagram. This TikTok NotesIt was made official this Wednesday (17) by developer ByteDance.

TikTok Notes So far only released in Australia and Canada and will remain limited to both countries indefinitely. Although it is currently available on the App Store and Google Play Store, there is no prediction yet that it will be available in other regions, including Brazil.

In TikTok Notes, Users can post photos and complement the image with short textThey are explanations, summaries or messages about the content. There are no more details about other features such as the possibility of using stickers, emojis or editing these photos.

The feed is split in two, just like on a social video network: one screen is dedicated only to feeds from people you follow, while the other is dedicated to discovering new content.
