Previously, the time limit you could edit a sent message was 30 minutes. Now you can do it in 60 minutes. Answers cannot be edited. It is also stated that when you click the edit button, you can see the history of text changes.
However, this functionality is only available to subscribers who have purchased Twitter Blue.
