Ivan Bondarenko, co-founder and system developer of the Siberian Neural Networks initiative, noted that artificial intelligence currently makes a certain number of mistakes, but even in this case, it makes the job much easier. The system was specially prepared for participation in the action: it was “taught” to correctly place punctuation marks and divide the text into sentences and paragraphs.
Taking place on April 20 in 77 regions of Russia and 43 countries, Total Diction will be a celebration of Russian language knowledge for participants from all over the world. Organizers of the event state that this year the dictation can be written even in unusual places such as stations in Antarctica or a cat cafe, expanding the boundaries of the event and making it more accessible to anyone who wants to participate.
