Once upon a time, only a select few people had wireless mice, but now such models have become affordable. However, there are also disadvantages. These include the possibility of breakage in the event of a fall (often they fail for this very reason), possible interference during operation and power costs (batteries).
As for wired models, disadvantages include cable wear, limited USB ports, and limited mobility (due to the presence of the cable).
