Apple now plans to ship 400,000 to 450,000 Vision Pros this year, said analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. It was initially envisaged that deliveries of helmets in 2024 would amount to 700-800 thousand units.

According to Kuo, demand for the Vision Pro in the United States has “fallen sharply,” causing Apple to take a closer look at launching the devices in other countries.

Apple is now “reviewing and adjusting” its shift in helmet production. It was expected that a second-generation Vision Pro could come out next year, but Kuo now thinks that’s unlikely.
