Actor Fyodor Bondarchuk collaborated with Flysound and TsRT to create the unique sound of the Werther robot. Using neural network speech synthesis, the audio was personalized and achieved specific effects, from changing the speed to adding sound effects. The producers of the film stated that creating a robot’s voice is not a trivial task, requiring a unique approach and advanced technology.

The new film, based on Kir Bulychev’s story “Before the Century”, became a joint project of many large companies and the Rossiya TV channel. The director and screenwriter was Alexander Andryushchenko, and among the producers was Fyodor Bondarchuk. Filmmakers hope that the use of advanced technologies will attract the attention of both young and adult audiences to works of Russian literature.
