Currently, the service is available to 20% of customers in Moscow and the Moscow region. By the end of the year, 85% of users of the service in Moscow and 50% in the Moscow region will have it.

Fast delivery is possible thanks to the new format of Ozon Fresh mini dark stores. They are designed for an assortment of between 4 and 6 thousand items.

Currently, 20 mini-format dark stores are open in the capital and the region and their number will increase six-fold by the end of the year. At the same time, the usual operation of 50 large dark stores, designed for a large number of product units, is maintained, the report notes.

Ozon Fresh plans to expand express delivery in other regions where it has a presence. To achieve this, the service has already begun to attract delivery partners and employees.

Ozon Fresh with 15-minute delivery from dark mini-stores as part of a pilot was launched in November 2021 in two cities. A representative of Ozon clarified that during the pilot tests the delivery managed to cover 50% of Moscow and 15% of St. Petersburg.

In summer 2022, Ozon indefinitely halted development of the 15-minute delivery segment for a limited range of Ozon Fresh products. The pilot showed that customers are less interested in very fast delivery than in a wide range of products.
