Like a TV “Good morning”, and it turns on the lights, the air conditioner and will show all the news.

Scenarios and automation are the basis of a true smart home. Therefore, I have a lot tied to them, from adjusting the light to turning on the devices and camera.

Having installed a smart TV according to this scheme, I completed two tasks at the same time. The Yandex TV station with built-in Alice and the company’s services serves me, in fact, not only as a listener, but also as a speaker, and at the same time as an assistant who accepts voice commands-scripts.

One of the most common consequences that occurs in my home is my garden, which I call “Good Morning”. In a few seconds he adjusts the lighting, turns off the camera in the room, activates the air conditioner and at the same time gets acquainted with the morning news and weather. Music also dilutes it all.

It works almost like magic: I walk into the kitchen, say “good morning,” and I say the equipment comes to life.

How to write a Good Morning script

To create the script we need an application Smart home with Alice from the App Store or Google Play.

This application manages all smart home devices that operate in the Yandex ecosystem. In addition, settings and automation are enabled and configured here.

1. Open the program, click on the “plus” in the upper right corner, select the item Scenario

2. Enter the name of the script: Good morning (there will even be a ready-made proposal for this)

3. In project If choose Phrase. We write: Good morning

4. In project Then we select the actions that will occur when the phrase is pronounced. For example, I have:

▪ lighting: Dawn mode (slow warming up)
▪ air conditioner: thermostat in auto mode
▪ socket (Camera): switched off
▪ TV Station: execute the command Morning show

▪ robot vacuum cleaner: turns on

All. All that remains now is to say “good morning.”
