Apple showed off the new generation iPad Air with a 13-inch display at a presentation on May 7. At the same time, the 10-inch model was also updated.

The display diagonal may have increased, but its technology has not changed. Therefore, the tablet screen is still limited to 60 Hz, they do not have ProMotion.

Installed in the tablet M2 processor, which is 50% faster than the latest M1 models. Games will run better, FPS will be higher.

The camera is now located in the side frame, like on the regular latest generation iPad.

The sound of the speakers has improved – there is twice as much bass. They themselves are designed to provide better musical sound in landscape orientation than the previous generation Air.

Please note: the memory on the iPad Air is now normal, and not before, either 64 GB or 256 GB. The maximum storage capacity is 1 TB.

There were no further visible changes. Oh, and a calculator hasn’t been announced for iPadOS, so the new iPad Air on M2 doesn’t have one (yet).

How much does iPad Air cost on M2:

▪ iPad Air 13 inches: from $799.
▪ iPad Air 10 inches: from $599.

Sales of the 6th generation iPad Air begin next week, with pre-orders opening today.
