The supercomputer, located in Virginia, will be operational later this year. MITER’s machine has 256 Nvidia GPUs, although it’s lower than giants like Frontier (37,888 GPUs); This is enough to train powerful AI models for government purposes.

This sandbox will be available to all federal agencies that fund MITER.
